Stokes Safety & Compliance, LLC
Privacy Policy
How Stokes Safety & Compliance, LLC collects, uses, protects, and handles information when you visit our website, contact us, or use connected online services.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the public website operated by Stokes Safety & Compliance, LLC ("SSC," "we," "us," or "our"), website forms and inquiries, and online services or platform integrations that SSC operates for its own business purposes. Authenticated business systems, including CommandLedger, may also process information needed for client, workforce, training, safety, compliance, and business operations under role-based access controls, applicable agreements, and legal requirements.
2. Information We Collect
Information you choose to provide may include your name, company, title, email address, telephone number, project or service needs, messages, attachments, and other business information. Hosting, security, and analytics systems may also receive technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, operating system, referring source, pages viewed, and date/time of access.
3. Cookies and Analytics
Our website may use Google Analytics 4 and similar technologies to understand website traffic and improve our services. These tools may use cookies or comparable technologies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
4. Meta / Facebook Integrations
SSC may connect its own Facebook Page or other Meta business assets to CommandLedger so SSC can schedule, publish, and track SSC-owned social-media content. When that integration is used, SSC may store encrypted access credentials or tokens, Meta account or Page identifiers, connection status, publishing records, and limited technical information needed to operate and troubleshoot the connection.
SSC does not use the Meta integration to sell personal information, build advertising profiles for third parties, or access unrelated private Facebook content.
5. How We Use Information
- Respond to inquiries and communicate about requested services.
- Prepare proposals, scopes of work, training arrangements, staffing discussions, and business communications.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website and internal systems.
- Publish SSC-approved content to connected business social-media accounts.
- Maintain appropriate business, safety, training, employment, investigation, and compliance records.
- Protect SSC, our clients, personnel, and systems from fraud, misuse, security incidents, or unlawful activity.
- Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, contracts, or valid government requests.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that support hosting, email, analytics, information technology, document management, or business operations; with clients or project partners when necessary for an authorized service; and when disclosure is required or permitted by law.
7. Data Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet business, contractual, safety, tax, insurance, employment, training, security, or legal requirements. Retention periods vary by record type.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping requirements, you may contact us to ask about information you provided to SSC, request correction, or request deletion of information we are not required or permitted to retain. Requests involving Meta/Facebook integration data may also be made using our Data Deletion Instructions.
10. Third-Party Services
Our website and systems may link to or integrate with third-party services, including Meta/Facebook, Google, email providers, mapping services, and government resources. Their privacy practices are controlled by those third parties and are governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
11. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses, employers, workers, and adult professionals. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the public website.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, technology, or legal obligations change. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date.
